Mental Wellness

  • Gabriela Ramirez

Gabriela Ramirez, PsyD - Psychologist, Tend Health

Gabriela has previous experience working in medical education, developing wellness curricula for medical students and residents, training them in behavioral health techniques. Assisting fellow healthcare professionals with burnout is near and dear to her heart, as she has experienced (and overcome) burnout herself.

Dr. Ramirez hopes to improve the mental health of healthcare providers in the same way she would have liked someone to do for her when she was undergoing her training. Dr. Ramirez primarily draws from 3rd wave CBT therapies such as DBT, ACT and Mindfulness-based CBT in her work. In her spare time, Dr. Ramirez enjoys travelling, cooking and spending time with family.
